Now I am a fan of Fantasy, ducks, and hippos. Along with a lot of other stuff. At long, long, long, long, long last I can move The Sunset Sovereign: A Dragon’s Memoir to be under my main writing name, Laura Huie. I did 5 longs because I had to stay quiet that long about this project.
That name means nothing unless you followed along Mark Lawerence’s Self Publishing Fantasy Blog Off (SPFBO). Yes, I am the same author of The Thedre Trilogy series. Because I worked intensively on The Sunset Sovereign: A Dragon’s Memoir, I put the series aside, and I am now diving back into the series The Thedre Trilogy with November coming.
Thank you everyone who has left reviews on the dragon book. Without you, this book would not have succeeded in the way it did. My goal with the Inkfort Press Publishing Derby was to learn how to reach ARC people (omg again team, you were amazing) and how to market. I still need to work on both I believe, but I have improved from The Unchosen release.
What is The Unchosen? Its a flip on the chosen, old school magic, and the start of a shift in the world. Where the truth of monsters are the friends, and the gods are decieving. Read some of the reveiws here at JamReads or at Esme Weatherwax (yeah I was safe for SPFBO)
With how I am finishing up book two of Thedre (aaa, I am saying that), I am opening up to beta readers. If you never read book one and interested, feel free to email me or leave a comment and we can talk.
Thanks again to everyone who has read my dragon book. Don’t forget to find the short story here about Vakandi in a Cardigan.
